The ServSafe food safety program provides high-quality food safety education and training materials for the restaurant and foodservice industry. The ServSafe program teaches employees and managers basic food safety concepts, helps managers and employees protect against food borne illness outbreaks, helps reduce liability risks, helps minimize insurance costs, enables participants to demonstrate a commitment to food safety, and provides nationally recognized certification for students and instructors.
Session participants will have the opportunity to be certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Examination, nationally recognized by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP). A score of 75 or above is required to become credentialed as an instructor.
Registration Includes
· A copy of the ServSafe Essentials textbook that will be mailed to registrants in advance
for training preparation.
· Exam answer sheet (Provided in your textbook. MUST BRING TO TRAINING or be charged
additional $45 exam sheet fee.)
· Training Session
The cost is $130 per person and checks should be made out to TRAEF. Participants register for this session separate from the Tri-Cluster Conference registration.
‘Exam only’ fee: $50 (participants will not attend training and will be permitted to enter conference room at exam time only). Exam answer sheet will be provided.
