Leadership (LTRA)
Leadership TRA
Developing Leaders For the Texas Foodservice Industry
The Texas Restaurant Association created Leadership TRA as a professional development program for leaders in the Texas foodservice industry. The mission of LTRA is to develop strong leaders in the industry by helping them further develop their skills in the areas of leadership, communication and political awareness.
LTRA was designed not only to identify, motivate and develop emerging leaders, but also to provide them with networking opportunities. The class teaches skills and provides knowledge that can be applied to participants’ businesses, their communities, their involvement with TRA and even their personal lives.
Leadership TRA – consists of four sessions led by nationally known experts in communications, business management, public relations and relationship economics. These sessions will strengthen critical leadership skills for restaurateurs who represent the future of our industry. In addition to attending these essential sessions, attendees will meet with chapter leaders throughout the state and TRA staff to discuss how to apply what they’ve learned to local chapter situations.
